About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead group consolidation, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning for a complex, international organisation. Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with the YRC Group, this role is critical in ensuring high‑quality IFRS reporting, robust financial insights, and strong governance across the business.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a technically strong finance professional who combines deep accounting expertise with commercial and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation and reporting in accordance with IFRS
  • Coordinate the end‑to‑end financial reporting process across subsidiaries and commercial regions
  • Define and maintain group reporting guidelines, standards, and tools
  • Act as the key finance contact for YRC Group, auditors, and external advisors
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long‑range financial modelling
  • Support the development of Strategic Plan financials, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Deliver insightful performance and profitability analysis to support executive decision‑making
  • Maintain and enhance group reporting, consolidation, and profitability analysis tools
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of finance systems and processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of senior finance professionals

Key Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Several years’ experience in a senior finance role, including Head Office exposure
  • Proven experience across Accounting, Consolidation, and FP&A within an international organisation
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and consolidation expertise
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • High‑level stakeholder engagement skills, able to work effectively with senior executives, commercial regions and subsidiaries, group finance teams (YRC HQ), auditors and external consultants
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong MS Office capability
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (e.g. SAP, M3, or similar)
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
