About the Job:

As a Field Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in troubleshooting technical issues and quality problems, mainly coming from the after sales market, applying theories to address problems that arise, writing reports to outline these issues. The person in this position will be able to give technical support to the local market on specific problems related to the products and applications, often ensuring the presence on site. Communicating with customers, providing technical explanations for possible root causes of problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical assistance to internal and sales staff, customers and end users
  • To inspect and adjudicate on warranty claims
  • Report back to field engineering departments regarding performance and quality issues
  • To provide product training to internal and field-based staff as well as deliver product and technical training to customers

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Field Engineering position or in a technical position of minimum 2 years, preferably in similar context
  • Communication and customer service skills, since direct interaction with the client is a primary component of the job
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to identify problem root causes, finding and proposing solutions to them
  • Appropriate to resolve conflict with a positive outcome for the customers and company 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fast learning approach, curiosity, team working ability, cost consciousness, initiative, and capacity
