About the Job:

Quality Advisor supports the Quality team and the Quality Manager in all quality-related activities, provides day-to-day leadership and coordination for Quality Department employees, and supports other departments as needed on behalf of the Quality Department. This role participates in all activities related to ISO certifications and the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the site management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize activities of the Quality Department
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Quality Department employees, serving as the primary point of contact for daily quality operations
  • Responsible for the compliance of company documents within the company management system
  • Manage and provide document management of local plant documents
  • Participate in planning and performing internal audits
  • Propose and support measures for the management system improvement
  • Maintain records, processes, procedures including responsibility for data entry of specific quality related information
  • Coordinate activities between departments and/or outside parties
  • Responsible for the organization of the calibration activities in the plant in relation to production requirements
  • Manage the receiving and sending of measurement gauges for calibration or verification and dispensing gauges after calibration or verification
  • Provides all agenda related to the records of measuring instruments (calibration sheets, records, etc.), including archiving
  • Checks the correct use and maintenance of gauges, provides expert and methodological assistance to users

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently in SW MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, basic Power Points skills• Knowledge of Criteria Standards for QMS, EMS and OH&SMS including requirements of S@W
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean methodology training or certification (preferred)
  • Internal auditor training (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze and improve processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient communication ability in English 
  • Ability to work with different functional teams and make recommendations to IMS
  • Ability to present in front of small and large groups
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively to meet goals
  • Influence other employees and act as a credible and respected role model
  • Flexibility and proactive approach
  • This position is on-site
  • Minimum of a 2-year college degree OR
  • 5 years’ experience in the field of Quality Management/Process Management
  •  Advise all departments of compliance to the management System & to require co-operation from the other departments for the assurance of management system functionality
  • To require responsible personnel to take action to correct identified nonconformities and escalate issues to the Quality Manager as necessary
